My department manager is a complete slob. Not a week ago did I have a meeting with her and my store manager about her leaving trash all over our shop. Today I spent 30 minutes cleaning up after her. That’s how I spent my lunch break today except I didn’t clock out. And not only that but she also gave me 4 hours of jobs I needed to get done with only 1-1/2 hours left before I needed to help the rest of my store with go-backs and recovery and bathroom cleanup. I told my store manager this before he left and he said I should be perfectly capable of doing this.
What turned out to be great day for me, turned out to be a shitty day for my boss. For once it’s his turn to bend over and take one.
The one thing I find hilarious is when some one has “a quick question” and then proceed to ask their question that takes them 5 minutes. And when some says they have an easy question but the answer they’re looking for is so complicated they get angry when it takes forever for you to answer.

Called out today, didn’t want to hear any bullshit from my department manager. Also tired of being the go to guy when someone is too lazy to do their own work or needs something done last minute.
So I created this Blog to vent my frustrations about the wonderful world of retail. Because working in retail sucks pretty bad, and lets face it, working in a craft store can be the worst. Especially if you think that glitter is the devil in powder form.
